The ideal process is to send your car to Japan for it to be modified, then it can be sent back to your country. This way, your car will not need a new homologation. The given price does not include the taxes and transport costs. There costs will be lower than trying to import the car normally: additional taxes apply for cars that will be driven in Japan; but your car will not be driven here so it can be exempted for road and vehicle taxes.
